you gotta be kiddin'!

Two months have gone by since our adorable bundle of joy arrived. He now weighs in at 13 pounds 1 ounce (80th percentile) and is 2 feet long (75th percentile). Not only that but guess what he gave us for his two month birthday? Sleeping through the night! I hope I'm not jinxing us, but he's done it two nights in a row now. YIPEE!!!!! Keep your fingers our little bundle isn't teasing.

He's been pretty awesome for Gramps & K during their visit. This morning he turned on his side & everyone was convinced he just might make it all the way to his tummy. Here's a couple of pics of Gramps with his grandkids on Roan's birthday!

For those times he isn't so happy and seems to be inconsolable, we have found his secret fix. We call them the German birds. It's a mobile Mimi & Grandy brought back from Germany that we placed over his changing table. He can be calmed by looking at them & is happy to stay there for quite a while. Since they are magnetic, we even considered taking one off to carry with us in case of emergency while out of the house.

By the way, he had his two month checkup and he's doing great. He got his first round of immunizations. He was fussy that night, which had us a little panicked. He didn't get a temperature & once we figured out the Tylenol dosing to help with his pain, he slept like a rock!
