Mad Hatter's Tea Party (Little Long's first party!)

Gotta say many many thanks to my ladies!!

Monica, Heather & Christina REALLY outdid themselves!

at the Mad Hatter's tea party...

the menu was enviable...

tea sandwiches (really delicious ones)
cupcakes
delicious sparkling punch

the decorations divine...

flowers galore
caterpillar (ok, he wasn't smoking a hookah, but kids were about)
a cheshire cat carved pumpkin
playing cards

the activities oh so fun...

finger painting for the kids
Alice & Wonderland themed coloring
tea tasting for the ladies


We also played a really fun game Heather designed called A Long Came Baby (get it? a LONG - heehee - this last name is fun). I have to say, I did have a slight advantage and yet I still didn't manage to win!

Meanwhile, the boys enjoyed bowling, brews and all things fried while the ladies enjoyed a lovely tea party!

I totally cannot figure out how in the heck to get any more pics on this post. I invite my "co-contributor" to post a few. There's a ton of adorable ones!

Did I forget to mention Mom & Stephen made it to town on Friday, but not before Dad & Karen surprised me on Thursday night!! Micah and I are so lucky to have such a supportive family. I think Christina was pretty stoked to see everyone (not to mention all the help they gave us getting ready for the party!)

Thanks to everyone who was able to come and make our first baby shower incredibly special. I'm so thankful to have so many wonderful friends and family! We know those of you who weren't able to make it were here in spirit! :-)
